Application Filing Assistance
Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to meet the needs of our community. In the past years, we have added a new branch of service to our Immigrant Assistance consisting of filing certain Immigration Applications with USCIS and the Immigration Court (EOIR). We provide an affordable alternative for completing forms such as:
- Adjustments of Status
- Application for Naturalization
- Employment Authorization
- Religious Visa Renewals
- Affidavits of Support
- Green Card Renewals
- Asylum Applications
- Fee Waivers

Immigrant Orientation
A large number of immigrants do not know about the services available to them. Our agency serves a resource that connects the community with those resources.
Additionally, we provide:
- Assistance in completing certain immigration applications
- Workshops on validating education credentials from other countries
- Referrals for services available for them (tax, health insurance, medical exams, etc.)
Emergency Closet
We offer immigrants who have been in the United States for less than a year, the opportunity to receive donated items to our Emergency Closet at no cost to them. The closet is made possible through donations of gently used clothes, shoes, and coats from Friends of Shalom Community Services.
